Thought you might enjoy a few photos taken around town in the winter....

They take their New Year's holiday decorations down.

Elder Smith poses by some graffiti we pass on the way to church.

Children can't resist sliding on a large patch of ice on the sidewalk.

Kids are the same around the world.

They pull their children on these cute sleds. This girl is about as big as you see them. We saw one little tiny toddler just scream when her parents made her get off to cross the bare pavement on the street. The littlest ones who sit on these look like starfish with so much snowgear on that their hands are sticking straight out.

They still wear their short skirts. She just has regular nylons on. She was shivering like crazy. Me with 5 layers of cover on my legs couldn't resist taking this picture.

They ice skate (in and out). This happens to be on the 3rd floor of the shopping center where we grocery shop.

They remember Feb 2, the day the Germans surrendered in Stalingrad (Volgograd) in 1943. This is in the main square in the center of Volgograd.

As for us, we are happy just watching beautiful sunsets from our cozy apartment!
