A Sampling of our October

The grandparents of one of the young adults collected
these mushrooms for us in the woods.  They are called
           Kantarellar mushrooms and they sell for
199 SEK a kilo ($30) in
the grocery store.  They brought us over 1/2 kilo.
They are yummy

FALL IS ALIVE AND WELL (AND WET) IN GÖTEBORG!

This is board I worked on with pictures of the young adults
who come to the Center.  Always more to add, so
always out of date.

How many mushrooms can you find on our lawn?

Per-Arne and Elin were married in the Stockholm Temple.
We enjoyed their reception a couple of weeks ago.

They designed their wedding cake and a lady in Alingsås Ward
made it.  She had to put it together on her patio, because it wouldn't fit through
her door.  The base is over 1 yard square.  All the brown rectangles are slabs of chocolate.
 The flowers and leaves are marzipan.  The cake was chocolate with layers of
chocolate mousse and raspberries.

We had a fun time having Sunday dinner with the Hulldin family
and the sister missionaries.

As you can see, the big park I talk about is really BIG!

We happened upon this celebration in the park last Saturday.
There was live music, games, free cinnamon buns and juice
 and lots of families having fun.
