March Madness in Göteborg

Mette received her mission call to California
Fresno Mission.

Anton's baptism

Jesper (the zombie) who will be our
next missionary leaving...for Greece.

We played hide and seek last night at the center.
Can tell where Maria is hiding?

A normal Friday Chill....on a chilly Friday night.

New favorite game app. among young adults...4pics/1word
(in English)

A favorite card game.  Maria (in black) always dominated, but
last night Marcus (in black) was the winner most often.

View from Heaven 23 Restaurant (on 23rd floor of
Gothia Tower).   Taking the suggestion of young adults.
we celebrated our 45th anniversary here.

It was fun to look out over Göteborg.  This is Ullevi Stadium.

The red topped skyscraper is called the Lipstick.

This church blends in with the apartments and stores.

We had to have the house specialty....

..the king-sized shrimp salad.  They were huge and yummy.  This is
a king-sized plate!

Another view on a beautiful, chilly day.

Another church...

...and another.  John rode his bicycle by this
church often when he was here as a
young missionary.

I barely remembered to take a picture of Gothia
Tower  before our spårvagn came.

A MILESTONE BIRTHDAY IN THE MISSION FIELD

Celebrating John's 70th birthday after
Family Home Evening
Lots of help lighting 70 candles

Ready to make a wish and take a big breath...

We had a birthday lunch at the Chinese Wok

With our ICA card from the grocery store,
he got a free birthday torte and torte server.

Enjoying his birthday surprise...over 200
birthday wishes from near and far.

He even was presented with birthday flowers
for the first time ever.

Our chilly picnic in the park last week.

morning last Thursday
