Starting December off right with Lena's baptism
We met Doris at the Frölunda Torg Christmas market at the mall close to us. We made her happy with our purchases of some of her handmade items.
Looking down at the Christmas market in the mall. Christmas markets are very popular and this is the 2nd we have been to.
John waiting in line to buy some special Christmas bread.
Worth waiting for and yummy eating!
Alingsås Ward nursery. A few other children would not cooperate for pictures. I had fun helping out here last Sunday.
Looking out the window of the Center down onto Vasagatan.
I made this at Relief Society activity. These bulbs will brighten the apartment during the long winter.
More lovely planters that were made that night.
After the activity we celebrated the season with a Jultid meal: rice porridge (yummy), cheese and bread and my holly wreaths.
We finished all 36 blankets, had over 30 people there and after finishing the project quickly had fun and refreshments.
Oh, and we can't forget these darling toys that 4 young adults (2 male, 2 female) made to go to the children's hospital along with the blankets.
