JANUARY FLEW BY!

This is our 'drink and mingle without the tingle' night.
Non-alcoholic drinks were the hit of the night.

Jenny is happy with her choice.

Leo is a great "bartender".

We spoke in two different sacrament meetings this month
with the institute council
Marcus, Josefin, Mette and Leo

Another Friday we had a pie making competition.

All the young adults were the judges.

Last Saturday and Sunday our Russian mission
president (Vladimir Nechiporov)visited Göteborg
and we were able tohave a nice visit with him.

This week we made semnor.  These are also known as
black Tuesday buns.  Josefin and I made the buns.

Then the young adults divided into teams and made
the filling.

They worked hard and fast.

Most had done it before, but some were doing it
for the first time...like me!

Everyone added their own touch of creativity.

You fill it with almond paste mixture..

And top with whipped cream...

Maoui might even make them in China....

Add the lid and powdered sugar and they are ready
and yummy!

There were quite a few....

...and most were eaten!

We had some fun and well-attended activities last month.
