September Surprises

Galina presented us with a beautiful, perfect pear that she brought from her garden
The Howards and us having fun being tourists
Volgograd just had a huge birthday party.  The flowers tell how old she is.
I told you about how they dress up for the first day of school...this is VERY typical.
John and Elena at her baptism.  Note the jumpsuit that I reconstructed.
These are fish drying at the ferry building in Krasnoarmesky
Hunting for mushrooms
KWait guys!  It will taste better after it is barbaqued!

Katya and her mom surprised me by finding out when my birthday was and came by to sing this to me...."better late than never, they said" (It's also a Russian proverb).
